Eva, this past week has been so much fun.  We went on many playdates, ventured to swim lessons, and spent time playing and cuddling at home.  I enjoyed every minute I spent with you, even if I got a bit frustrated because you wouldn't go to sleep on a few occasions (I know you just don't want to be away from us)!  Love you tons, mwah!

10 months

10 whole months! Man, that smile just warms my heart.  I can't believe we are two short months away from the big 1st birthday!  You are a busy, growing machine.  Eating everything you can and loving it (I'd say you are a Smith!).  You smile at everyone.  You are so curious about the world and your surroundings.  Every noise elicits your interest.  Every person or furry friend is your new best friend.  Eva, you are definitely our little social butterfly.  We love you millions, happy 10 month birthday!

 Eva's 10 month milestones:

• second tooth finally poked through (you are no longer our one tooth wonder)
• can give kisses (if she wants)
• high fives
• avid reader
• shrieks with delight at the site of any animal or other kids
• busy, busy mover.  Constantly walking along the furniture
• loves to shake her booty (to any song)
• has stood for 1-2 seconds on her own
• starting to babble all the time
• fascinated with mommy and daddy's belly buttons
• ate cat food
• LOVES bananas (she can eat a whole one in a snap)
• went under water at swim lessons

Chris and Marlena's milestones

• survived a few harsh biting incidents (ouch, Eva's jaw is strong!)
• getting quicker to chase after our baby and help her avoid harm (man, she is quick)
